Biography
DeShana Tracey works as a Research Assistant at the Yale Center for Clinical and Community Research. She currently works for Dr. Jaimie Meyer on her research on HIV/AIDS, substance use disorders, mental illness, homelessness, and the criminal justice system. Additionally, she supports Dr. Tami Sullivan's research on domestic violence and its intersection with HIV. Previously, she worked for Dr. Sandra Springer on her studies involving HIV/AIDS, substance use disorders, mental illness, and medication-assisted treatment. She received a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2022 and a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences with a minor in Psychology from Quinnipiac University in 2016. Her interests include medical and mental illness, substance use disorders, and social injustices.
