Diversity Strategic Initiatives

Yale School of Medicine is increasing its existing efforts and beginning new initiatives to enhance our recruitment, retention, and sense of inclusion for women and under represented minority groups in medicine (URiM).

In addition to the groups and activities described on our website (for faculty & staff and for students, trainees, and postdocs), we are setting ambitious goals for ourselves as detailed below.

Departments are also developing their own committees and programs.

As these efforts grow and begin to bear fruit, we will continue to update these pages with more information.

If you'd like to know more, please don't hesitate to contact us.
