Biography
Samantha Lew, LMSW, is a Program Manager at the Yale Global Health Leadership Initiative in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the Yale School of Public Health. Concurrently, she serves as an Adjunct Faculty at the University of Saint Joseph in the Department of Social Work and Equitable Community Practice. With a background as the Policy & Advocacy Manager at Health Equity Solutions, Samantha brings extensive expertise in legislative advocacy and communications, providing strategic advice on policy trends and critical issue areas. She holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Eastern Connecticut State University and a master’s degree in social work with a concentration in public policy from the University of Connecticut, where she previously served as a Graduate Research Assistant conducting analyses of state policies related to child abuse prevention, addiction and recovery, and prenatal substance exposure.
